I am a 32 year old female artist, Predominantly a conceptual fine artist, however Crowdog is my commercial business that allows me to dream a little & not worry about crossing the lines & dotting the T's, here I can slip away into another world, feeding my imagination directly from source & putting it directly to paper or canvas.

Crowdog, has been inspired from our bond with dogs (particularly sight hounds) & birds and is deeply entwined with nature. I often draw on inspiration from the Victorian area, using decorative & ornate designs.

My work consists of vintage inspired Illustrations of dogs, birds & nature created in the form of stipplings & watercolour, also whimsical graphite illustrations on Fabriano & oil paintings of Birds.
I specialise in stippling, not only because it’s a traditional technique but also because I love the grainy feel that it gives to my work & the high amount of detail that it allows me to apply.

My small business was created to help local animal rescue centres earn a few extra needed pennies, I offer certain rescues 10% of sales on my signed limited edition fine art prints, which are professionally printed at a fine art guild trade based in Bristol.  I also sell pocket mirrors, quality notebooks, greetings cards, handmade fabric toys & handmade necklaces that are based on nature, particularly the macro world.

I am very concerned about the environment in which we live, therefore I often recycle & upcycle and all of my products & materials are bought or made in the UK.
